VOLUNTEERING

Westside Warriors is a parent-run organization and requires ALL parents to volunteer so that all players can have the best football experience possible. Parents are responsible to complete 6 hours of volunteering.

A volunteer deposit cheque of $200 is required at registration, and the fee is fully refundable at the end of the season when volunteer hours have been completed.
Volunteer roles include board members, coaches, team managers, field setup, commissioners, etc.

As a non-profit organization providing programs for youth in our community, it is the policy of Westside Warriors to ensure all coaches and council members have an annual Criminal Record Check completed. Fill in the application at: This Link  utilizing Westside Warriors access code: (TBC)

Emergency Action Plan

An Emergency Action Plan (EAP) is a plan designed by coaches to assist them in responding to emergency situations. The idea behind having such a plan prepared in advance is that it will help you respond in a responsible and clear-headed way if an emergency occurs.
An EAP should be prepared for the facility or site where you normally hold practices and for any facility or site where you regularly host competitions. For away competitions, ask the host team or host facility for a copy of their EAP.
